It?s not great but it?s manageable during the daylight hours, but at night I have to put on reading glasses with the lenses in, to see anything close up well. I have tried all of the multifocal contacts over the years. All of them came with compromises that essentially made them impractical. Well, Proclear Multifocals are the exception! I tried 3 different multifocal trial lenses and the Biofinity were definitely the best of the bunch. They don't my eyes feel dry or sticky by the end of the day. Plus the are the latest and best generation of silicone hydrogel lens called Comfilcon A. The oxygen transmittability is so good, I even sleep in them on occasion with no problems.

I had to sacrifice some distance vision, but I still see 20/20 distance, just not 20/15 or 20/10 like I did with single vision. Reading vision for the coopervision proclear multifocals I would give a C+, but the computer vision is an A. I work on the computer, so that is good. Coopervision Proclear Compatibles contact lenses are the most comfortable contact lens. I haven't been able to wear any ohter lens as long as I can wear the Cooper vision proclear comaptibles. With significant water content, the Coopervision Proclear Sphere contact lenses keep my eyes from drying.
